Cherry Festival 10am - 3pm: Celebrate the sweetness of summer with us at our Cherry Festival! Step into the heart of summer at Over the Hill Orchards’ Cherry Festival—part of Saskatchewan Open Farm Days! Nestled in the scenic Qu’Appelle Valley just northwest of Regina, our family-run certified organic orchard has spent years perfecting fruit varieties that thrive in prairie climates. On August 9, from 10 AM to 3 PM, join us for a day filled with cherry-themed fun!

Orchard Tour 11am: Join owner Dean Kreutzer for a fun and fascinating orchard tour, featuring Prairie Cherries, apricots, peaches, blackberries, and wine grapes. Learn how he grows non-hardy fruits using innovative container systems and hear about his passion for breeding prairie-hardy fruit trees.

Paid experiences:

Cherry Picnic in the Orchard $70: Choose from one of five unique picnic sites or our new Deluxe Gazebo, each offering a distinct personality and vista. Your picnic comes conveniently packed in a backpack, complete with bread, cheese, buffalo jerky, jam, a bottle of our fine wine, glasses, a blanket, utensils, and napkins.

The cost includes 1-hour space rental and a picnic basket for two. Additional guests can join without extra space rental fees, though additional food and drinks are extra. Please arrive promptly for your slot, and note that we sanitize the benches shortly before the hour ends.

Remember, no external food or drinks are allowed (no minimum / maximum guests, bookings are per hour)

Parking is indicated in the lot upon your arrival, park on the north side of the lot.

Heading from Regina on highway 11 towards Lumsden, turn off onto Exit A, 734 towards Wascana Trails, follow the road for 7.5 kilometers, keep left and follow the gravel road. Turn right at the signage at the bottom of the hill, our property is at the top, parking on the right hand side.
